Late Bloomers

All beings have different capabilities, different greatness.

We are all born in different circumstances, growing up in different cultural background, educated in different environment, birth our career from different experiences. These differences teach us different things, which in some way or another navigate how and when we tap into our greatness serving our self-purpose or life purpose.

Late bloomers, in my opinion are people who break their shell of greatness in the later years of their living. E.g is the famous Colonel Sanders who began his well-known Kentucky Fried Chicken franchising in his late sixties.

We have seen some people who found their life purpose at various ages, making the wealth that is the envy of many and making impact to how we are living. We are seeing more and more younger people achieving what the conservative era think should be achieving at the age 40 and above.

But I’d say, no matter what age we are at, most importantly, we first accept who we are. Appreciate ourselves with all the strengths that are bestowed on us. Embrace the weaknesses that come with the strengths. Then understand how our strengths are able to do good, for us and others. Perhaps, one may call this a process of self-discovery. It is a process where we understand what serves us best, who we share our sentiments with and how we chart our journey.

When we begin charting our journey towards our self-purpose, use our greatness and experiences to guide, to heal and to give hope to others. Everyone’s journey is not the same so our maps can be different - that is absolutely ok. Lend your support in ways you can, through words of comfort or through act of encouragement.

The end game is to get to where we are meant to be by making good impact on others, influencing dose of kindness, encouraging self-worth. This journey is a long way and takes time. Going slow is fine because every impact you make at every phases of the journey shall help another person to further make positive impact on others.

Opportunities are available for those who seek. All flowers bloom in the right environment; and everyone of any age can bloom, regardless. Late bloomers are those who bloom in the later years of their lives. Nevermind, if you are in your 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s and above, there is still time to seek. Keep the search on.

Find your purpose.

Find your passion.

Find your dreams.

Make this world a better place with our greatness.

“Better to bloom late than not blooming at all!”

So, are you a late bloomer? :D
