COVID-19 corononavirus pandemic has impacted everyone in every part of the world.
Many countries have either declared a nationwide lockdown or partial lockdown depending on the severity of the situation in respective countries.
All leaders including nation, business, etc are tested in every way ensuring safety of their people. Others are being tested on how they cope with potential boredom having to stay home for a long period of time.
Below are some suggestions to fill up your time:
1. Train on your survival skill in particular in the food department. You can learn to fry an egg for a start. (Yes, it may be difficult at the beginning but nothing is easy to begin with.)
2. Catch up on your reading. There must be a book or some books that you long to read.
3. If you work from home, appreciate some me-time because there is no travelling time to office involved now.
4. Do some workout. There are plenty of online workout videos available.
5. Spend some quality time having small chats with your family members, spouse, partner, children, housemates, etc.
While some nations allow their people to still go out during the partial lockdown, it is very much urged that this flexibility is used appropriately. Go out only when required.
Collaboration is very encouraged during this time so we can get through this challenging period.
One of the ways is through not hoarding food in the supermarkets. Food supply and other essential items are sufficient for everyone if we all practise rational purchasing. Hoarding is not the best solution. There are independent older folks which require these supplies, too. Everybody matters.
While the bigger supermarkets are stocking up supplies, do visit the smaller business in support of them so they can get through this tough time.
Small act of kindness and consideration during this time goes a long way.
We are in this together and togetherness will get us through this uncertain times.
